Well, we missed it.
Much like Greedo, we were late on the draw. (Wait, who shot first?)
The day that everyone waits all year for, May 4th: it came and went.
Star Wars enthusiasts everywhere wait all year to post a single picture of the little green fellow saying “May the 4th Be with You.” Due to supply chain issues directly related to sporadic Tusken Raider caravan attacks and a power outage on Coruscant, our post missed the window.
We heard there is another holiday happening today though so we should be covered. Ole!
Speaking of being a day late, has anyone been affected by the blackouts due to the threat of wildfire? Utility companies around the country have been utilizing this strategy to manage the possibility that aging infrastructure could allow for devastating wildfires. We have seen such wildfires, regardless of ignition source, in some high-profile locations in the country. Even if you think these blackouts are the real Phantom Menace, these shutoffs are happening. And it is up to the business owner to be prepared.
BYOP: Bring Your Own Power
This term has been thrown around a lot lately, for good reason. In fact, we wrote about it just a couple of weeks ago, Bring Your Own Power. We are on the cusp of wildfire season and if this winter is any indication as to how dry it will be, we are in for a wild ride this summer. Like it or not, the power grid in this country is aging, demand is at an all-time high, and when the power goes out the Millennium Falcon will not be is coming to save you. Like it or not, it is up to you to protect your business from possible damage from power outages.
Power outages can cause all sorts of issues for a business that is not protected by a backup power system. Options can range from battery backups, diesel or gas generators, or natural gas generators. But what is going to keep your business online when the lights go out?

The Question of Reliability
Where battery backups fail due to charging limitations. Traditional fuel sources require constant monitoring. But natural gas generators? They just work!
We may be biased but Mesa generators are ideal for any standby power application. In fact, we stand by our generators so much that we have installed an array behind our brand-new assembly facility in San Antonio, Texas. Just our own little insurance policy against blackouts, inclement weather, natural disasters, or whatever else the galaxies throw at us.
The bonus of utilizing a Mesa generator? We can choose to run on either propane or regular natural gas. In the event of an extended power outage, we can continue to operate as long as utility gas flows. Our generators are not tied to the power grid in any way. They’re completely autonomous. No outside influence from the power company. No hassle. Just peace of mind when you need it. When the grid flips the switch, you keep going.
Always Keep the Tractor Beam Powered
There may be a time when your tractor beam goes down, and you have no earthly idea why. Aside from holding the princess and dealing with shutdowns in the trash compactor, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
If your facility had a Mesa Power Solutions generator none of this would have happened and the tractor beam would still be functional. Instead of calling the maintenance droids, install a power solution that is proven to keep your delicate infrastructure online before trouble strikes.
You want to coast through the next power outage and keep your business running, regardless of whether it is a fire-mitigation blackout or a meddling rebel spy. You could be destroying planets or making tacos and Mesa Power Solutions has the backup power you need. Contact our sales department today and let us provide you with an estimate of the power you need, no guess work and no more underperforming units.
Oh, and one word of advice, don’t trust the short stormtroopers. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Happy May the 4th 5th everyone!
