Reading Time: 3 minutes

My neighborhood is outside of a major population center, although not too far. We have green lawns, a pond, and multiple playgrounds scattered throughout. What used to be cornfields has become a planned community with cul-de-sacs and dog friendly walking paths. We have a sign at the entrance to the neighborhood and yearly community garage sales. Overall, it is a nice place to live.

There is one thing that bothers me though; all the houses look exactly the same.

One of the only ways to tell the difference is through the signs on the front porch. You know the ones, “Live, Laugh, Love” and other quaint or seasonal drivel. It’s bad enough that people are installing permanent Christmas lights and calling them “accent lighting.” As much as my neighbors like to think it’s a new way to decorate their homes, when I lived in the trailer park, we kept our Christmas lights up year-round years ago.

If you take the time to look around, this “sameness” is occurring at an alarming rate. Most cars look the same, cell phones are the same black rectangles, and yes, almost every generator looks exactly the same. The generator industry is plagued by these big metal boxes. In fact, very few pieces of equipment in the power generation space are anything other than big metal boxes. To be fair, this is a necessity and influenced by many factors. For Mesa, we have designed an entire, self-contained, generator system in various metal boxes that stack together like blocks.

What’s In the Box?

As much as we loved it when Brad Pitt asked that question, we like to ask “who’s name is on the box?” If that is Mesa Power Solutions, you can guarantee one thing, the service is going to be impeccable.

As a natural gas generator manufacturer, it might not be obvious that we offer a full range of service options. The thing is, we have a whole battalion of service techs with purpose-built trucks. This crew is highly trained in service and maintenance of Mesa generators. Not Generac, not Caterpillar, but Mesa generators. Techs are trained at the factory on our equipment based on real world solutions that we have identified throughout our history.

You see we cut our teeth in the oil fields of Wyoming, Texas, and North Dakota, in environments that eat normal generators for lunch. Our engineering team is continually refining our generators, and Mesa is always committed to providing the most reliable platform for your power generation needs. We cannot do that without our team of service technicians who are the real heroes of the operation.

Day and Night, No Days Off

To provide exceptional service, it makes sense to work the same hours as a generator. Meaning our team is standing by 24/7. Generators do not take a day off and neither do the service techs. Okay, that is not entirely true. A member of our team is always on call, no matter the season, day, or time.

Let say you have a generator chugging away on a pad in the middle of actual nowhere, the only critters out there in the patch are jackrabbits and roustabouts. If you have a Mesa generator there is a room of technicians in Colorado monitoring the wellbeing of your equipment, day and night. If a problem occurs, the team will dispatch a technician in their specialized truck to diagnose and repair the issue or coordinate a replacement generator.

Get Behind the Name on the Box

When considering a natural gas generator, ask yourself if you would rather be alone out there with the jackrabbits and roustabouts, or if service and support are important for your goals. It is time to look beyond the box. Mesa stands for reliability, consistency, and service. Isn’t it time you had all three?

We will keep making the best boxes we know how and if you want to add your own “accent lighting” we are not going to stop you.
